Island escapes expand across Aegean and Adriatic networks
DUBAI – Summer travel demand across the UAE is set to rise as flydubai rolls out an expanded network of 11 seasonal destinations, timed closely with the Eid Al Adha 2026 break.
The Dubai-based carrier has introduced a wide mix of beach, island and cultural escapes across Europe, the Mediterranean and neighbouring regions.
The programme began in late May and continues through June, offering frequent departures and short-haul holiday options for residents looking to escape the heat.
Mediterranean favourites now welcome early summer travellers
Services officially resumed on May 23, with flights operating to Corfu, Tivat, Antalya, Bodrum and Olbia.
Frequencies vary across the network, including daily services to Bodrum, five weekly flights to Antalya, four weekly to Tivat, up to three weekly to Olbia, and twice weekly to Corfu. These routes focus on classic summer holiday destinations known for beaches, coastal towns and relaxed seaside atmospheres.,

On May 24, additional routes opened to Dubrovnik, Santorini and Mykonos. Dubrovnik operates three times weekly, Santorini twice weekly, while Mykonos is served four times weekly. These destinations offer a blend of historic charm, island landscapes and vibrant summer nightlife, adding further variety to the airline’s seasonal schedule.
June launches add fresh Black Sea and Egyptian routes
The expansion continues into June, with Al Alamein in Egypt joining the network on June 20, operating five times weekly and offering access to the North Coast’s emerging beach scene.
On June 26, Batumi in Georgia and Trabzon in Türkiye will be added, with four weekly flights to Batumi and daily services to Trabzon, broadening options for cooler coastal and mountain getaways within short flying distance of the UAE.
